Happy 16th December and welcome to today's blog! I am in London today visiting Winter Wonderland so today's blog will be short and sweet, yet will still fill you with Christmas movie cheer.

Hope you enjoy, and are inspired to watch a film from the list below.

Disney+ Originals:

Home Sweet Home Alone - Starring Ellie Kemper and Archie Yates, a married couple tries to steal back a valuable heirloom from a troublesome kid.

Noelle - Starring Anna Kendrick, Kris Kringle's daughter is full of Christmas spirit but wishes she could do something important like her brother Nick, who will take over for their father this Christmas. When Nick is about to crumble like a gingerbread cookie from all the pressure, Noelle suggests he take a break and get away...but when he doesn't return, Noelle must find her brother and bring him back in time to save Christmas.

Godmothered - Starring Isla Fisher and June Squibb, When Eleanor, a fairy godmother-in-training, learns that the world may not need fairy godmothers anymore, she decides to prove everyone wrong and help a young girl whose plea for help went unnoticed.

Festive Classics:

Home Alone - Starring Catherine O'Hara and Macauley Culkin, eight-year-old Kevin is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for France. At first, he is happy to be in charge, but when thieves try to break into his home, he tries to put up a fight.

The Nightmare Before Christmas - Written by Tim Burton, Jack Skellington, a being from Halloween Town, finds Christmas Town and is instantly enchanted. The situation becomes riveting when his obsession with Christmas leads him to abduct Santa Clause.

The Santa Clause - Starring Tim Allen, by helping Santa Claus with a Christmas crisis, Scott unknowingly agrees to become the next Santa Claus. Now, he has to deal with a suspicious former wife while trying to keep his secret safe.

Jingle All The Way - Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Howard, a haggard salesman, promises his son a Turbo Man toy for Christmas. He is forced to fight every parent and travel all over town to get the toy after he forgets to buy it.

Winter Favourites:

Frozen - Starring Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, Anna sets out on a journey with an iceman, Kristoff, and his reindeer, Sven, in order to find her sister, Elsa, who has the power to convert any object or person into ice.

Frozen 2 - Queen Elsa begins to hear a mysterious melodic voice calling to her. Unsettled, she answers it, thus awakening the elemental spirits and setting into motion a quest to restore an old injustice.

I hope this list will help you find a fun festive film to watch this weekend. Only 9 days to go!
